Isaiah 43:1-3
"But now this is what the LORD says--
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
'Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name;
you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you;
when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the LORD, your God,
the Holy One of Israel,
Your Savior."
Dear Paula,
Kyle read this passage this morning, and it came to mind for him this evening again as we talked about the journey that starts for you tomorrow, and also about the dream you had. Our loving God most surely wants you to know that you are not alone now, you will not be alone tomorrow, and you will have His presence abiding with you in all the days to come. Reading these words of scripture and hearing about the dream He gave you encourages your children, too, Paula, as we walk this journey with you. We love you so much, and praise the LORD that we can trust you to His hands of love and mercy. We are and will be praying for you, Mom!

Oh, what a perfect scripture! Thank you for sharing it...thank you for your tender hearts in your thoughts to me. It has been so great to have Kyle and Tim here...Kyle is such a ready encourager to me.
I am blessed beyond words by your sweet love...by these precious boys...by the oneness we have in Christ! Thank you, sweet ones, for loving me so openly and so gently...in the richness of His truth and love. Your hearts minister to mine!!
