I had a nightmare about the wedding last night. My dad didn't show up to walk me down the aisle, I didn't have any flowers, and the bottom half of my dress was transparent lace. I got halfway down the aisle and turned around and went back to start over. However, I know that is not going to actually happen. The good news is, I'm feeling more calm about the planning. Yesterday, I met with Claire for coffee to go over the details of the reception. She took amazing notes and helped lay everything out on a timeline.
I got my dress out yesterday to take to my mom's house. She is having a veil made for me, and the veil maker came over to discuss what I wanted and take measurements.
Here's the contract with my wedding date on it!
Bryan and I have a lot going on this weekend, so we purposely saved last night to have dinner together, just the two of us. We opened this bottle of wine that we bought to taste and see if we liked it to order for the reception. It was delicious, and we had a lovely evening.
I'm excited to see you tomorrow, Easter Sunday! I hope you're feeling blessed by the love of Christ!
Love,
Rachel
