Dear Paula,
I wish there were some way I could lift you up out of the pain and exhaustion of this treatment you are in the black middle of. I wish there were some way to truly be in it with you to help you bear it. Each one of us children (and grand-children!) of yours loves you so much, and we are "storming the gates of heaven" (as I heard you say it once) in prayer--that God would wrap His tender, loving arms around you and comfort you, encouraging you and leading you as only He can.
You are ever on my mind and on my heart, dear Mom Gough.
