Hi Paula! Last night, while looking at your photos from the night Amelia was born, I came across these three, and just had to share them here. I cannot describe the beauty of your mother's (and grandmother's) heart in words, but these photos capture some of that incredible beauty. It's a beauty full of love and joy, full of gratitude and praise. An unselfconscious beauty that shines out blessings upon those in your midst.
As your daughters-in-law, we have all been recipients of your blessings time and time again, and some of the most special moments of blessing and beauty have been when you have met each of your six grandchildren for the very first time, on the days they were born.

You have enveloped each of us girls in your loving arms, kissing our cheeks and foreheads upon seeing us for the first time after our labors, deliveries, and c-section surgeries...Your eyes full of tears of joy and the biggest smiles on your face... You have said out loud how proud you are of us, and have celebrated with us wholeheartedly, completely, with the utmost love and support. Your heart is so big!

And then you take those babies in your arms. Such sweet moments they have been, all of them. You are a dear, dear grandma! And we are all blessed. We thank God for you, Paula!

Here are two photos from my collection (I hope Jenny and Rebekah will also share photos of you with their newborn babes!): Above, You with Evan mere moments after his birth, his eyes wide open and drinking you in as you spoke to him; and below: You with my mom the day Miles was born. I love this photo of you rejoicing with my mom, and taking in Miles' brand-new life.

Paula, thank you for loving and serving your family with everything in you! And I know you'd have it no other way, but I want to thank you, too, for always 'being there' with your family for these big moments in each of our stories. We love you so much, and give God the glory for the beauty and blessings He pours through you into each of our lives!
Love, Kristen
