First, I wanted to share these two photos:

I snapped these photos on the night I brought the boys down for a spontaneous visit... You were watching Simon and Levi just after Josie was born, and Jenny had brought Wes down, too. These photos just capture how it is at Grandma & Grandpa's house: Five little boys who are the best of friends, happily gathered around the kitchen island, while Grandma and Grandpa talk with them, laugh with them, and serve them tasty food on their own special plates. These boys are right at home in your kitchen, Paula, and here they are loved, delighted in, listened to, prayed over and with, nurtured, nourished, and instructed. It is a beautiful sight to behold, and I want to remember these sweet and "ordinary" moments. So soon, and Amelia and Josie will be sitting up at the island on their own, too, elbow to elbow with the boys, chatting and laughing, and adding to the entertainment and delight!

And, Thanksgiving! As always, a joyful time of being together, acknowledging our blessings, and enjoying a delicious feast! Thank you so much for hosting us--I know it is your joy, Paula--but it is our joy, too, to spend the special holiday in your beautiful and lovingly decorated home. Your thoughtfulness in the details is always so evident, and such a blessing to your family. (The kids' table was a huge hit this year!!)

What fun! And speaking of fun...
~~~
How about seeing these seven cuties all dressed up and getting ready to see Santa?
It is always a bit crazy...but so much fun, to see all the cousins together with Santa, and then after, to enjoy the hustle and bustle of Bellevue Square at Christmastime, with a girls' trip to Starbucks, and then lunch for everyone after.
And, how fun to have Grandma Evans and Aunt Rhoda with us this year! I love this photo of you with your mom, sister, and your two granddaughters (who looked absolutely adorable in their Christmas dresses!!)
Thank you, Paula, for a fun-filled and LOVE-filled Thanksgiving holiday weekend. I love you!
