new red trike

Kyle was on a mission to find a red radio flyer tricycle for Evan,
and on Sunday, he found just the one.

He brought it home
just as Evan was waking up from his afternoon nap.

Grover came out too, to help Evan inspect his new wheels.

Let's see, a bell and streamers...perfect!

Let's go, Dad!
Around the corner and down the street to see our neighbors!

It's a bit chilly out here...
better put on my green vest from Grandma...

And lose this hat, so I can feel the wind in my hair.

Enough riding for today...
I think I'll cool down with a short walk.

Dear Paula, we are praising God for the good report from yesterday's appointment with the oncologist!  I don't know if you could hear Evan in the background when you called last night, but he was cheering, "Gram-ma!! Gram-ma!!"  We are all cheering you on, with our hope and our prayers.

Love to you today,
Kristen

Oh Evan, how fun!!! Do you like the bell on the bike and the streamers? What noises do they make?

It looks like both you and your dad are having a great time. Thank you for sharing your pictures of this. It is so fun for grandma (and grandpa) to see you with your bike.

Thank you for cheering for grandma! That is so sweet for me to hear you call my name.

I hope you (and Miles, and mommy and daddy) all feel better soon. Won't it be fun to ride that bike on the next sunny day? Grandma's cheering for you to learn how to ride that bike!! I love you so much!

Evan, grandma had another question. Did Grover want to ride the bike? It looks like he wanted to get on it! He is so funny! He can't ride a bike!! Just you!!
