Since I am at work all day most days, I was wondering what I could possibly post here that would be at all interesting. But the girls suggested I show you a few pictures of my office so you can see where I spend my time. So, here's my desk...
I even have my own business cards. They gave me a huge box of them when I first started this job, and I had to tell them I would need new ones after May 23. My boss was great, though. He said he'd have the new ones waiting for me when I got back from the honeymoon. "Rachel Gough" has a nice ring to it, don't you think?
The marker board in my office keeps track of my instructors' vacations. My name is on the list for the wedding and honeymoon, and I often gaze longingly at it. It's a nice reminder of the happy events to come.
I hadn't realized until today how much I needed the sunshine. I was in such a good mood all the way to work (and on a Monday no less) that I stopped and bought breakfast for my teachers, something I had been meaning to do for a while. It's amazing what a bit of coffee and some bagels will do for morale.

Oh boy, Rachel, I REALLY enjoyed these photos! It is fun to get a glimpse of where you spend so many of your days. I must say, I love the green/creme Dartmoor mug with the tree design. It uses my favorite colors along with creating such a nice feel of outdoors with the tree! And, of course, we loved the stack of books...reminds me I need to open a new one here and get started. Steve wanted me to tell you that he really liked seeing the Mark Twain one!!! And finally, I wanted to comment on you picking up the bagels and coffee! What a thoughtful...valueing statement to those who work for you. I was so impressed with your kindness, generosity and wisdom in treating others! I love what it says about YOU!!

Rachel, I forgot to comment on the BEST photo...the vacation one!! I am so excited for those days to come for you...and for all of us!! The first couple of 'vacation' days will be pretty busy...and momentous...and include great blessing...and then aaaahhh...rest and relaxation and fun in the sun!! I am SO HAPPY for you to have that on your calendar!
