wheelbarrow rides

Oh, hasn't this sunshine been amazing? Yesterday after church we put on flip-flops and t-shirts and headed out the backdoor to enjoy the beautiful weather. Kyle mowed the lawn and pruned a few bushes, and then we went over to our next-door neighbors' house to watch our older boys play in their backyard sandbox. We enjoyed our time visiting with all of them and talking about our newborn boys and the ups and downs of this season of life. We truly have the best neighbors; what a blessing they are to us!

After our visit Kyle asked Evan if he'd like to try a wheelbarrow ride with Grover. "Ok!" was Evan's quick reply.

An eagle flew by overhead, and we all stopped to watch it circle above our house.

Evan invited our neighbor over to join him in the wheelbarrow. They laughed and laughed and screamed with delight as Kyle ran them around the yard. Their favorite part was chasing Grover. (Grover loved it.) Our neighbor is a month older than cousin Simon, and he and Evan really enjoy each other's company.

Boys are so much fun. And this sunshine is such a gift. There's nothing like being outside and watching your child play and run around, laughing and enjoying life so fully.

Thanks for letting us share a bit of the fun with you here! xoxo, Kristen
