early evening spring walk

As you know, Paula, walking is one of my favorite activities. I love being outside, breathing the fresh air and feasting my eyes on God's creation. Tonight after dinner we set out together as a family, and made our way down to Greenlake, taking in the sights of spring along the way.

Evan loves walking on the path's center line, 

and does so every time we go down to Greenlake.

You know I'm thinking: This is the best!

Evan also enjoys pointing out benches, 

and then going over to sit on them for awhile.

This was actually our second walk today; we also got out together early this morning for a walk, with the boys in the double jogger. On the way home (from Starbucks--the outing was basically all about walking up the hill to get Mama a hot foamy mocha), we ran into Chris, who was bicycling into work. So fun!

These two walks were a perfect way for me to start and finish the day today with Kyle, Evan and Miles! Here are a few other photographs I took on our walk this evening.
