Oh, Paula, how you are on my heart! I wanted to share these photos with you from our family's outing yesterday to Golden Gardens. (Jenny's post below inspired us to take advantage of the beautiful weather and head down to the beach, too!)
I hope these photos lift your spirit in some small way today! I was thinking about you and praying for you throughout the day yesterday, and most certainly while we were at the beach, knowing how you would have enjoyed being with us (we would've LOVED to have you and Steve there, too!!).

What a gorgeous day it was yesterday. So brilliantly sunny, with mild temperatures. Perfect for an early spring outing to the beach. The tide was low, and we quickly decided Evan was better off barefoot, with pants rolled up. We spent a leisurely time soaking up the stunning views, exploring the beach together as a family, and delighting in Evan's pure enjoyment of the sand and surf.
When can we all go to the beach together? With kites and frisbees, a soccer ball, buckets and shovels, and blankets and lunch? Oh, how I would love that.
