Our Gough Christmas was so fun this year. With five adorable little boys joyfully running (or crawling) around Grandma's and Grandpa's house (and the anticipation of Amelia's birth right around the corner!) how could it not be?! Spending time together as a family was sweet and special as we shared laughter, good conversation, music and singing, delicious food, and prayers of praise, thanks and celebration.

Paula, thank you for hosting all of us--for preparing food, and our cozy and comfortable rooms for the night. For soothing fussy babies and playing with our busy toddlers. For being so intentional about all of the details. And for inspiring and setting the scene for Simon, Levi and Evan's first cousins sleepover--sleeping bags and all! You are an amazing mom and grandma, to say the least!

which were given to all of us before Christmas dinner.

I love this shot of most of the family in the kitchen, preparing our big brunch after opening gifts. (Simon and Levi were sitting on the other side of Rachel.)
It was a wonderful Christmas! Thank you, Paula, for all the ways you made it so.

I also wanted to share a handful of photos from our first trip to the Woodland Park Zoo during the week after Christmas. Thank you so much for our membership! The boys had a blast visiting their favorite spots.

We're looking forward to making the most out of our year-long passes! (And hopefully one of these times you and Steve can join us!)
Love, Kristen
